Beef Chuck Roast

Bone In.  A juicy and delicious roast for slow roasting.  I roast them in a covered pan in the oven for approx 4 hours at 325 degrees.  Usually about an hour and a half before I expect it to be done, I will add in vegetables, such as potatoes, carrot chunks, parsnip, celery, onion quarters, or whatever else sounds good.  The aroma that fills your home will be memorable.  I like leftovers sliced cold, with a nice grainy mustard or horseradish the next day.

Roasts weigh 3-4.5 lbs, at $5.75/lb.
